Mizuno's network of Fitting Centres has introduced a new fitting tool that prescribes a golfer's best performing shaft flex. The Mizuno Flex Analyser measures the load placed upon the shaft during the swing. The measurement (1-9) is recorded through a network of sensors that run through the inside of the shaft. In combination with a swing speed measurement, the Mizuno Flex Analyser’s reading prescribes a shaft flex that gives the greatest distance without loss of control. Mizuno’s Custom Fitting Specialist, Graeme Gorrie said, “Mizuno Fitting Centres know how important a player’s swing tempo is in dictating their ideal shaft flex. A golfer with a 95 mph swing speed might normally expect to use a stiff shaft in their driver. If that player has a very smooth rhythmical swing they will be able to control a softer shaft and generate more distance.” The Mizuno Flex Analyser allows our Fitting Centres to make an exact recommendation for shaft flex based on both the player's tempo and club head speed. Mizuno Flex Analyser is now available on Mizuno's network of Fitting cenntres in Australia. |
